Summary of the poem Palm Tree by Rabindranath Tagore

THIS BENGALI POEM BY RABINDRANATH TAGORE DESCRIBES THE BEAUTY OF THE PALM TREE. ACCORDING TO TAGORE , THE PALM TREE IS QUITE TALL AND IT SEEMS AS IF IT TOUCHES THE SKIES.THE SOIL IS SOMEHOW  THE PALM TREE'S MOTHER AS THE TREE  STARTED ITS JOURNEY AS A TINY SEEDLING FROM THE SOIL.

The palm tree is very tall and it illustrates that it is flying ......it thinks of his leaves as his wings and he wants to pierce the clouds soo high and go around the stars . Throughout the day the branches shakes strongly and shiver as if it is feeling cold and he thinks he flies but when the wind stops his dreams stop and he return back to earth.
