Summer Break Assignment - 2015 Necessary Guideline for Grade 9 Students Aim: Same theme across all subjects  To make child Acquire Perspective- the capacity to understand multiple viewpoints on a given topic.  To foster the acquisition of foundational knowledge, promotes integration of ideas from multiple disciplines and provides insight on how to apply knowledge will assessing the same through multidisciplinary study. Assessment marks: 10 per subject Teachers have to take report and do assessment for their respective part and pass it on to next subject teacher in the class. 1. From 6th to 10th September – to be marked between 6 and 10 marks. 2. From 13th September onwards – to be marked between 4 and 7 due to late submission. Mode of Presentation: 1. In a form of a report – arranged in a plastic folder. 2. Only one side of a page shall be used for writing. Ruled pages used for science record book can be used. 3. Full report shall be hand written, printing is not allowed- incase of printed report a flat 4 marks to be awarded. 4. Students are allowed to use colour pencil to add colour to the report. For heading and subheading they may use different colour gel pen. 5. Pasting of colour picture are allowed to add value. 6. Report should have minimum 30 sheets excluding cover, Assignment details and back page. a. Page -01 Cover of the report b. Page -02 Name, class and other personal details of the child c. Assignment pages for reference – not to be numbered. d. Page -03 Index – page number wise e. Page – 04 Separator – Colour Paper with subject written on the same. Shall not be numbered. f. Prepare a profile of an international sports person. 2. Write a diary entry by imagining yourself as a player who won an important match. 3. Prepare an imaginary school/house compound wall with English vocabulary (adjectives, adverbs, nouns etc) related to Sports and sports related activities. 4. Prepare a running commentary on your favourite sports as it is being played as a live match (using present tense structures). 5. Write a letter to the Sports Minister of your state briefing to him the need for improving the sports facilities in your village and also suggest ways to improve the same. 6. Prepare a list of questionnaire to be used during an interview with a sports star who is visiting your town next month. 8. Prepare a lively advertisement for the FIFA WORLD CUP-2022, QATAR.
