extra distance in in kilometer be = y
According To Question

first equation as he travelled 110 km this goes as
fixed charge + remaning distance charge
x+ 110y = 1130 ----------------------------( 1
)
second equation as he travelled 200 km this goes as
fixed charge + remaning distance charge

x + 200y = 1850 --------------------------( 2
)
eliminate ( 1 ) and ( 2 )
x + 200y = 1850
x+ 110y = 1130 first step change the
signs x will cancel away it will give
-90y = -720
y = 720
90
y = 720 divided by 90 y= 8
x + y ( 8 ) =1130
x +880 = 1130
x = 250
fixed charge = 250 rs
additonal charges per km =8 rs
