Tears shone in her eyes. Her lips trembled. "Oh Mr. Herriot," she cried, "How can I ever thank you? This is a triumph of surgery!" Comment on the emotions and final observations of Mrs. Pumphrey.

Please answer the question in about 125-150 words.
My question is from the book 'Footprints without Feet, Chapter-1, A Triumph of Surgery.

Dear Student,

The treatment that was offered to Tricki is called the 'triumph of surgery' because it revived Tricki and brought him back to life. When he was bought into the surgery, he was weak and unable to move. However, with a strict diet and exercise with the other dogs, Tricki regained his old self and became healthy and fit. Hence Mrs Pumphery was overwhelmed with joy and relief as Tricki recovered.

Mrs Pumphery loves Tricki very dearly and was horrified of the fact for the need of surgery. She was of opinion that Tricki had very few chances for improvement and needed immediate medical treatment.  Mrs Pumphery was overwhelmed with joy and relief as Tricki's illness was very serious but her dog recovered without any requirement for a surgery.
