Tendrils encircles or coils around the object in contact with it.elaborate. pls ,help with this qstion

Tendrils encircle or coil around the object in contact by the property known as thigmotropism. When a tendril comes in contact with the support, here the support acts as stimulus which triggers the growth of cells that are situated on opposite side of the support of tendril. The cells grow fast and the non contact side of tendril elongates in such a way that it tends to bound around the support. These movements are caused due to difference in turgor pressure.
