The answer is (b). But TP is always equal to WP. It is TP and OP on which DPD depends. How can we say no exchange takes place?:

62. If turgor pressure becomes equal to the wall pressure then
(a) water leaves the cell
(b) no exchange of water takes place
(c) water enters the cell
(d) solute goes from the cell into water.

Dear student.

Turgor pressure is the pressure exerted by the cell components which pushes the plasma membrane against the cell wall.

Wall pressure is the pressure exerted by the cell wall against the cell components which is equal and opposite to turgor pressure.

As water starts entering the cell value of both turgor pressure and wall pressure starts increasing, till a cell becomes fully turgid. At this stage of equilibrium, DPD will become zero which means the cell becomes fully turgid and stops taking in water.

Regards.
