The area of rectangular plot is 2400 square metres and its length is one one by two times to its breadth what is the perimeter

Dear Student,

Given:
length = $\frac{1}{2}×breadth$
=>  breadth = 2 x length
Area of Rectangle = 2400 m2
And we know, Area of rectangle = length x breadth
2400 = length x 2 x length
2400  = 2 x  length2
$\frac{2400}{2}$ = length2

1200 =  length2
=>   length2 = 1200
=> length = $\sqrt{1200}$ ( on taking square root on both the sides)
=> length = $20\sqrt{3}$
then,  breadth = 2 x length

breadth = 2 x $20\sqrt{3}$
breadth = $40\sqrt{3}$
and we know Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (length+breadth)
= 2 ($20\sqrt{3}$+$40\sqrt{3}$)
= 2 x 60 $\sqrt{3}$
= 120$\sqrt{3}$ m
