Buccal cavity most commonly known as mouth, marks the beginning of the digestive system. It consists-
1. Vomerine teeth serves to prevent the escape of prey.
2. Maxillary teeth for holding the prey.
3. Tongue which is sticky so that small insects can stick to it.
4. Vocal sac opening in male.
5. Opening of larynx known as glottis.
