Actinoids show +3 oxidation state in general.There is a greater change of oxidation states varying from +3 to +7.This variation is due to the fast fact that 5f,6d,and 7s levels are of comporable energies.Due to uneven distribution of oxidation states among actinoid element,their study becomes somewhat difficult.
