if we sub  5 frm denominator  the denominator will be  = x+3

then frm the above we get,
x + 23 = 3
x + 3

x+23 =3(x+3)
x+23 = 3x +9
23-9=3x -x
14=2x
14 = x
2
x = 7 = num
x+8= 15=denominator
