the difference between Anne Frank diary and zlata?what are the similarities between both?

Anne Frank's diary is considered to be a historical record because neither is it a fictionalised account nor has  it been composed after the incidents took place. It is the diary of a person who was living her life during the time of the Second World War and recorded her experiences of that time from a personal, political and social aspect. This record made by an ordinary citizen becomes a historical document because it was not a conscious project to document history taken up by a scholar. Rather it recounts the lived experiences of a young girl, living through the horrors of war and persecution on the grounds of ethnicity. Zlata Filipovic, called the Anne Frank of Sarajevo also kept a diary during the Bosnian War through which she lived. However, Zlata and her family survived and she escaped to Paris, later on graduating from the University of Oxford and continuing with a life writing. Zlata fulfilled the promise she had shown in her diary which Anne could not. Anne died in the concentration camp with her family, only her father survived and he was the one who published her diary.
