We have to find the height(h) of the room.

We have,

The dimensions of the room are (8m x 6m x h)

The dimensions of the 2 doors are (2m x 1m)

Dimensions of almirah are (3m x 2m)

The cost of covering the walls by wall paper which is 40 cm wide at Rs.1.25 per m is Rs.362.5

We can find the total length of the wall paper used as-

$= \frac{T o t a l \cos t}{C o s t p e r m} = \frac{362.5}{1.25} m = 290 m$

So, total area of the wall is-

$= 290 (0.4) m^{2} = 116 m^{2}$

From the given dimensions area of the wall can be written as-

So,

$2 h (l + b) - 2 (2) - 3 (2) = 116 2 h (14) - 4 - 6 = 116 h = \frac{126}{28} = 4.5 m$
