the displacement x of a particle is x = 4t2-15t+25 m

(a) find the position , velocity ,acceleration at t = 0sec

(b) when will the velocity of the particle becomes zero ?

(c) can we call the motion of the particle as one with uniform motion?

when t=0

x=25m

by using differeciation nxn-1

velocity=dx/dt= 2*4*t-1 *15

v=dx/dt =8t-15

t=o

v=-15m/s

a=dv/dt

v=8t-15

=8-0

=8m/s2

b..

v=0=8t-15

8t-15=0

8t=15

t=15/8 secs

v will bcom 0 at 15/8 secs

c..  i dont think so it is a uniform motion

hope this helps u

c.If u double differentiate the disp. you will get accleration.

x= 4t2 + 15t + 25

dx/dt = d/dt 4t2 + d/dt 15t + d/dt 25

v= 8t + 15

dv/dt = d/dt 8t + d/dt 15

a = 8

as accln is not 0 so motion is accelerated.

so motion is not uniform.
