The driver of a car sees an obstacle in the road and stops the car as quickly as possible . The Car stops without hitting the obstacle . State three factors that could affect the stopping distance of the car
Solution :-
There are following three factors that could affect the stopping distance
1.Reaction Time : it is time taken by driver to apply the brake when the drive sees an obstacles . During this time
car moved towards the obstacles without retardation and stopping distance get reduced .
2. Frictional Force : It is the force of friction offered by road on the tyre of car and frictional force depends on tyre
material ,tyre tread depth , roughness of road and weight of the car
3. Stopping Distance : the distance between car and obstacles
