the enzymes that are group specific , are those enzymes that are involved only in changing and transferring groups  or will they involve in hydrolysing or something different from dealing with groups ???

Dear student.

Group-specific enzymes mean the enzymes will act only on those substrates, that bears specific functional group such as amino, phosphate and methyl groups.

Once enzyme binds to the substrate, it will depend on the class of enzymes, what sort of reaction it will carry out. For example:
Oxidoreductase - These enzymes catalyse the oxidation-reduction reactions. They catalyse the transfer of electrons from one molecule (electron donor) to another (electron acceptor).
Transferases - These types of enzymes catalyze, reaction that involves the transfer of groups such as amino, carbonyl, carboxyl from one molecule to another.

Regards.
