Find the point of intersection of x+2y = 5 and 2x+y = 5 multiply equation 1 by 2 and subtract both the equation, 2x+4y = 10 2x+y = 5 subtract3y = 5 y = 5/3 so 2x = 5-5/3 = 10/3 x = 5/3 so vertex is 53,53now mid point of opposite side is 0,0so equation of line passing through  0,0y = mx where m = 53-053-0=1 so y = x is the equation of median
