Nothing is impossible. All we need is strength and a strong determination to overcome our weaknesses. The lesson “Deep Water” is one such experience of William Douglas which he says had a deep meaning for him. Douglas was a sort of hydro phobic person. Due to his horrifying experiences with deep water, Douglas feared water. But with his will power and grit, he tried to master his fearfulness. Not once but many times he did try and kept on trying till he succeeded.
The time span that he devoted to get into water and swim better giving a backseat for his obsession exposed him to many situations that augmented his attempts and goal. Thus the experience to overcome his phobia had indeed a very deep meaning for Douglas.
