The fawn 'wobbled' after him. Tell if this sentence is transitive or intransitive and give proper reason also.

Dear Student,
In this context Wobbled is a transitive verb as there is a direct object, which is "him".
The sentence answers the question,  "Wobbled after whom?", i.e after him.
Hence it is a transitive verb.
However, had the sentence been, "The fawn wobbled." Then it would have been an intransitive verb, as there is no direct object.
