 The frequency of a source of sound is 100 Hz . How many times does it vibrate in a minute?

The frequency of 100Hz means 100 vibrations in one second .i.e 100 x 60=6000  vibrations in 60 sec= 1 minute.

time=1/frequency

time=60 second

no. of vibration = time period x frequency

  =  60 x 100

  =  6000 cycles in 60 second and 100 cycles in 1 minute
