The harder we beat a table,the louder is the sound.List two reasons for it.

The 2 reasons why we hear louder sound on giving a greater thud to the table ;

1 by giving greater thud ,the atoms of the medium will vibrate more vigorously thus creating louder noise.

2 if the intensity of vibration is more then the sound will be heard till greater distance.
