We know that largest side of right triangle is hypotenuse so

Let base is x so using pythagorus theorem in right triangle ABC AC2= AB2+BC2132= 52+x2x = 169-25= 12 cm so area of right triangle = 12×base×height= 12×12×5 = 30 cm2
