the lesser the angle of prism, the greater is the deviation produced....Is this sentence correct wid respect to convergung action of convex lens on a parallel beam of light?

the statement is true larger the angle of prism lesser will be the deviation .
the converging action of the lens depend upon the  focal length of the lens .larger the focal length lesser be the deviation their is no such thing like angle of lens . 
both are different thing .
