The lower jaw in mammals is made up of

1) angular 2) splenial 3) dentary 4) maxilla

The answer given for this qquestion was angular but I have a doubt that why not maxilla it is the lower jaw. So plz explain

It is not Maxilla because, maxilla form the upper jaw.

In vertebrates, the mandible, or also called the lower jaw  or jaw bone is a bone forming the skull with the cranium. In mammals the lower jaw has only one bone which is angular in shape and supports the ear drum.
