the % of Se in peroxidase anhydrous enzyme is 0.5% by weight(atomic weight=78.4).then what is the minimum molecular weight of peroxidase anhydrous enzyme ?

Symmetry in biology is the balanced distribution of duplicate body parts or shapes. The body plans of most multicellular organisms exhibit some form of symmetry, either radial symmetry or bilateral symmetry or "spherical symmetry". A small minority exhibit no symmetry (are asymmetric).

In nature and biology, symmetry is approximate. For example, plant leaves, while considered symmetric, will rarely match up exactly when folded in half

0.5x/100=78.4

x=15680

x=1.5680*10 to d power 4

x=the mol. wt. of d enzyme

Let the molar mass of peroxide anhydrous be x, then do 0.5% of x = 78.4, (right) so find out x, that the ans. Simple.

No one here mentioned that there must be at least one atom and we are taking 0.5% as weight of one atom...hope u got it

let molecular weight of enzyme be x
weight of Se in enzyme = 0.5% of x
                                      = 0.5 x / 100
at. wt. of Se = 78.4 (which is given in the question)
so,
78.4=0.5 x / 100
78.4 * 100 = 0.5 x
7840 = 0.5 x
x = 7840 / 0.5
x = 7840 * 10 / 5

therefore , x = 15680 or 1.5680 * 10 to the power 4
