the outer and inner diameter of a circular ring are 34 cm and 32 cm respectively. The area of the ring is

area of the ring= area of outer circle - area of inner circle= pi (R2-r2) 
                       =22/7{ (17)2-(16)2}
                       =  22/7 * 33 
                      = 103.714 cm2

R = 17 cm , r= 16 cm area of ring = pi (R2- r2) =pi ×1×33. = 3.14 × 33 = 103.62 sq. cm
