the perimeter of a quadrant is 25 cm.find area of quadrant. plzzz fast..

Let radius = r

Perimeter = radius + radius + length of arc

Perimeter of quadrant = r + r + angle/360 * 2 * pi * r = 25

2r + [1/4 * 2 * 22/7 * r] = 25

25/7 * r = 25

r = 7

Area =  angle/ 360 * pi * r * r

1/4 * 22/7 * 7 * 7 = 38.5 sq.cm

ur information is incomplete ...atleast radius should be given

  • -3

 l = 25 * 1/4 = 25/4

ATP

r + 25/4 = 25

4r = 75

r =75/4 cm

area = 1/2 *75/4 * 25/4

       = 83.6sq. cm approx
