therefore,the perimeter = 48 cm
                   3a=48
                     a=48/3
                    a=16 cm
therfore each side of triangle is 16cm​​​​​​
area of equatrial triangle is root 3  / 4 * s2
                                         root 3/4  * 16 * 16
                                             root 3 * 4 *16
                                            root 3 *64
                                             root 3 = 1.7321
                                           1.7321 * 64

according to pythagorus 
on dividing the triangle int 2 equal right triangles
16^2=8^2+h^2
h=14
