"The poem shows a man the true picture of his real self". Explain
Poem - childhood

Solution-
The poem "Childhood" depicts a real picture of what a man is. The poem shows a man the true picture of his real self by contrasting the image of childhood and the adult age. During childhood, a child is very innocent and is filled with love and purity. A child is neither a hypocrite nor manipulative. He remains free from all the bad habits found in adults. A child becomes an adult when he is able to live his own life and take care of his responsibilities individually. As he grows into an adult, the negative emotions like hatred and jealous steps into the person. Although the adults preach of harmony and love but in reality they do not practice such things. At this stage of life, one also learns to be double faced and crafty.
