 From 0 to 4 sec coach walks 8 m distance
From 4 to 6 sec he stays at same place only.
From 6 to 8 sec he walks from total distance travelled in 6 to 8 sec is 4 m
From 8 to 10 sec he stays at same place only
From 10 to 14 sec he again go from 4 m to 8 m, so total distance travelled in 10 to 14 sec is 4 m.
From 14 to 16 sec coach comes back to starting position so travelled total distance of 8 m in last 2 secs.

Total distance travelled by coach is = 8+4+4+8 = 24 m

Total displacement of coach is 0 m as he return back to same position after 16 sec.

Displacement of coach after 12 sec is 2m in one direction from 12 to 14 sec and 8 m in another direction from 14 to 16 sec. So total displacement is 8 - 2 = 6 m.

Fastest speed is for time for time interval for which coach travelled maximum distance.

In last 2 sec coach travelled 8 m distance in 2 sec, so fastest speed is 4 m/s.

Average speed is total distance covered by coach in 16 seconds / total time = 24/16 = 1.5 m/s2
