money given to the librarian by the principal = 80 * 90 = Rs
7200
Given that the publisher offered her 20% discount, the price of
each book = 80 * 90 / 100 = Rs 72
∴ Number of copies she could buy from the
publisher = 7200 / 72 = 100 copies
