the process of separating -solid

Dear student, If a solid is put in liquid i.e. a mixture of solid and liquid then we can seperate solid and liquid by filtration. With a help of filter paper, solid will not pass from the filter paper but liquid will pass. So, this way solid can be seperated. Regards,
