the rainwater from a roof 22m*20m drains into a cylindrical vessel having diameter of base 2 m and height 3.5m . if the vessel is just full , find the rainfall in cm.

pls do this problem in simple method

Given that: Height of cylindrical vessel (h) = 3.5 m

Diameter of cylindrical vessel (d) = 2 m

So, radius of cylindrical vessel (r) = d/2 =2/2 =1 m

Volume of cylindrical vessel =

Volume of rainfall =

Volume of cylindrical vessel = Volume of rainfall

Therefore,

 Volume of rainfall = volume of container = πR²h = LWd

where
R = radius of container
h = height of container
L = length of roof
W = width of roof
d = depth of rainfall

d = πR²h/LW = π(1)(3.5)/(22*20) = .0250 meters = 2.50 cm.
