Dear student.

Benedict's Test or Fehling's Test is used for detecting sugar in urine.

Benedict’s reagent is a solution of Copper(II) sulphate. The reagent contains CuSO4.7H2O in an alkaline citrate solution. It is used to detect the presence of reducing sugars.

Regards.
