Dear Student, 2. (a) part 1- Cerebral Cortex, part 2- Cerebellum, Part 3- Pons and part 4 is spinal cord. (b) The protective layer of brain is known as Meningeal Layer or Meninges. Its three layers are Dura mater, arachnoid and pia mater (from outside to inside). (c) The basic unit of brain is Neuron. It transmit sensory and motor signals from different body parts to brain and from brain to body parts respectively. (d) The main function of Cerebellum is to coordinate different voluntary movements of different muscles in the body and thus helps to maintain posture and smooth muscle activity. Regards
