The semiperimeter of a triangle is 96 cm and its sides are in the ratio of 3:4:5. Find the area of the triangle.,

Let the sides a, b and c of the triangle be 3x, 4x and 5x respectively.
It is given that the semi-perimeter of the triangle is 96 cm.

∴ s = ½ of (a + b + c) = 96 cm
⇒ a + b + c = 2 × 96 cm = 192 cm.
⇒ 3x + 4x + 5x = 192 cm.
⇒ 12x = 192 cm.
⇒ x = 16 cm.

∴ a = 3 × 16 cm = 48 cm, b = 4 × 16 cm = 64 cm and c = 45 × 16 cm = 80 cm.

Hope! This will help you.
