The smallest integer function f(x)=[x] is- (A)one-one (B)many-one (C)both (D)None
PLEASE ANSWER ASAP!!
ALSO EXPLAIN IT!!

Dear Student,
It is a many-to-one function.
For example,
[3.5]=4 and [3.6]=4
[4.6]=5 and [4.7]=5
Thus as you can see, the domain(where x comes from) has real values whereas the co-domain has only integer values.
Also a number of values of the domain map to the same value in the co-domain.
Hence it is said to be a many-to-one function.
