The standard reduction potential values of three metal cations X, Y

and Z are +0.52, -3.03, -1.18 respectively. Arrange in the increasing
order of their reducing power. Construct a galvanic cell using any two
of the three metals.

As the electrode reduction potential values become more and more negative, the reducing power of the ionic species also increases, so the given electrode reduction potential can be arranged in the increasing order as:

 +0.52> -1.18 > -3.03,

So the reducing power of the ion will increase in the opposite direction:

X < Z < Y.

Y will be the strongest reducing metal cation.
