"The steel canester seem heavier than the plastic bag so lightly over his shoulder " Explain .

Contrary to his heartfelt desire, Saheb eventually ends up picking up a job in a tea stall where he is paid 800 rupees and all his meals. Now he carries a steel canister which seems heavier than the palstic bag he used to carry so lightly over his shoulders. The author observes how, in the process of earning a few hundred rupees, Saheb has lost his freedom and ‘carefree look’. Saheb is no longer the his own master.

this doesnot actually mean that it is heavy but then the fact that it is creating more burden for him as he doesnot like this job but he is forced to work to get paid. he is no more the master of his will. he has to work under other

Ya absolutely.. Bec earlier he has his own wish and will.. he used to do rag picking and was free to roam here and there. he has a plastic bag on his shoulders which was his own. Bt now coming to the shop, he had to carry a steel canister which belonged to the shop owner.. He has to do work on the terms and conditions of his master so now his life was restricted to his master's orders so he had a burden on his mind..

Hope it helps.. Gud luck..:))))
