the things which float in water will they float in oil or kerosene also

Hi,

Water is denser than oil and kerosene oil. So anything which can float over water will float over oil and kerosene oil also. Otherwise the floating of an object depends upon the two substances or objects involved in floating.

Hope it helps.
Cheers!

 Hi Siddharth!

It is not necessary that things which float in water will float in kerosene also.

The things that have lesser density will float.

Kerosene has lesser density than water. So it floats in water.

The things that have lesser density than water will float in water. But there may be some substances that have lesser density than water, but more density than kerosene. These substances will float in water, but sink in kerosene.

Hope you get me.....

Good Luck!!!
