Dear Student This statement is true because we cannot restrict a species to a specific topic level. This can be justified by the fact that a particular species may have multiple feeding habits. For example when a human feeds on grains, it is considered as primary consumer. If human feeds on chicken and other animal based diet, it is considered as secondary consumers.
