We have, ABCD as the given parallelogram in which AB=6 cm, BC=4 cm
We know that opposite sides of parallelogram are equal, thenCD=AB=6 cm; AD=BC=4 cmWe have,  AE⊥CD; CF⊥AD
Now, height corresponding to base CD = AE=3 cmarea of parallelogram ABCD=base×height=CD×AE=6×3=18 cm2Now,  the height corresponding to base AD =CF=x cmNow, area of parallelogram ABCD = base×height⇒18=AD×CF⇒18=4×x⇒x=184=4
5 cmSo, height corresponding to base AD is 4
