The variance of 10 observations is 4. If each observation is multiplied by 3, find the variance of the new data?

Dear student

If  we  multiply  the values  by  a  constant,  the  standard  deviation  is  multiplied  by  this constant, the variance is multiplied by the square of this constant

so new variance =32×4=36
