the very first question of mine has been answered wrong. Check it again. It's clearly written in book that whether the velocity is 2i+3j or 7i+3j+4K, both the velocities represent 1D motion

In this question the position of particle is 2i+3j+5k so it has co-ordinates that is 2 units along x axis, 3 units along y axis and 5 units along z axis. So this motion is 3D motion and if the particle would have the co ordinates 2i+3j it is a 2D motion
as it has distance along x and y axis only.
