the video clearly said that phrases are some words which do not make sense but actually it clearly does!

The video defines a phrase as:

A phrase is a group of words acting as one word. It doesn't have a subject or a predicate. A phrase does not make complete sense when it stands by itself.

There is a difference between not making sense and not making complete sense. For example, 'very quickly' makes some sense but it does not give you the entire context in which the phrase is being used.
