the zeroes of quadratic polynomial x^2 + 1750x + 175000 are.....
a) both negative b) one positive one negative
c) both positive d) both equal
explain the ans with solution plzzzzzzzzzzz

(A) both negative

TO calculate how many positive zeros or roots, we just have to see the change in sign. No of times of change in sign value from positive to negative and from negative to positive is the number of maximum positive roots. If there is change in sign 3 times means there can be at most 3 positive roots.

In your case, there is no change in sign, so no positive roots.
Therefore all negative

Both will be negative. There is no need for finding the zeros of the polynomial.You can directly do this.
Let us take a simple polynomial in which all are having + sign in between in them.
Example = X2 +5X+6
X2 +2X +3X+6
X( X+2)   +3 (X+2)
-2 AND -3 ARE THE ZEROS.
in the similar way for this question both zeros will be zeros.Don't see the numbers just see their signs. Here all ar positive.
