Thin filaments partially overlaps the thick filaments ..... isn't this correct?? the 7th point in structure of myofibril says : the thick filaments partially overlaps the free ends of thin filaments!

Does both of them mean the same??  or the one given is wrong?

This will be clear by this diagram

In the diagram the thick and thin filaments overlapping each other in A band of the muscle fiber are shown. And you can clearly see the thick filaments partially overlaps the free ends of thin filaments (the filaments which are attached to Z line are thin filament where as those present in center are thick filament)
