Given that, Three runners running around a circular track can complete one revolution in 2, 3 and 4 hours respectively.

To find the time after which they meet again at the starting point, we will find L.C.M. of 2,3, and 4 hours. We have,

$L . C . M . o f 2, 3, a n d 4 = 2 \times 3 \times 2 = 12$

$T h e r e f o r e, t h e L . C . M . o f 2, 3, a n d 4 = 12$

Hence, they will meet again at the starting point after 12 hours.
