Through all his voyages Gulliver displays a great facility in learning languages. Justify this statement.

Travelling to strange lands, it was initially quite difficult for Gulliver and the other natives to communicate. Hence the only way that Gulliver could communicate with them in the beginning, was through signs. Eventually he comes about to learn the native tongue of the lands he visited and he does it with much ease and panache. His facility in learning languages is quite evident in the text, especially when it comes to the discussions and discourses that he has with the King of Brobdingnag, wherein he is quite articulate. It is through these snippets of conversation and interaction, that one can easily see that Gulliver did a marvellous job of learning the language of the lands he visited.
