A noun is the name of a person, place, animal or thing.
Example - Ratna, Brazil, Kangaroo, Bat

There are different types of nouns. The four common types include: Proper noun, Common noun, Abstract noun and Collective noun. There are some more types like 

• Uncountable Noun
• Countable Noun
• Possessive Noun
• Appositive Noun

A verb is a word used to describe an action, state, or occurrence. Examples of verbs are: running, swimming, talking, dancing, eating, singing, fighting, writing, studying and thinking.
