a) National Sample survey organisation (NSSO) collects data on poverty in India.
b) Vicious cycle of poverty is a situation where the people in the less developed countries have low per capita income. Having low income their rate of savings is low. which leads to less productivity due to which an economy gets trap in circle of poverty.
c) NREGA has been a major step by government to eradicate poverty by providing 100 days assured employment to rural households in 200 districts of the Country.
